Blake Lively Takes "Green Lantern" to Comic-Con 2010

Pairing up for a day of Comic-Con promotions, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds turned up at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California on Saturday (July 24).

The "Gossip Girl" hottie showed off a little more skin than usual in a low-cut, white, sleeveless top with black pants as she joined her hunky co-star in taking part in a "Green Lantern" panel discussion.

With fellow movie mates Peter Sarsgaard and Mark Strong as well as director Martin Campbell also on hand, Ryan dished on why he loves the "Green Lantern" character, saying, "He could throw a punch, tell a joke, and kiss the girl. I couldn't figure out who wouldn't want to play that for a movie...or maybe two or three."

Meanwhile, Blake received quite the applause as she announced to the packed audience, “I’m excited to go to the Harry Potter panel next!”

Katy Perry Talks “Teenage Dream”

From all indications, she’ll have another hit album on her hands this August when Teenage Dream hits stores, and Katy Perry’s second single is the album’s title track.

“Teenage Dream” debuted on radio and online outlets yesterday and Katy told press it was a very special song for her to write.

I wrote that song in Santa Barbara and it was a very pure moment for me, because that's where I'm from. And it was, like, where I started my creative juices.”

“And also it kind of exudes this euphoric feeling because everybody remembers what their teenage dreams were — all the girls that were on your poster walls. And I want to continue to be one of those ... teenage wet dreams.”

Scarlett Johansson is back with a new song ‘Bullet’

Scarlett Johansson has released a new song, cover of Steel Train’s ‘Bullet.’

Scarlett Johansson will never make it to the list of my top 10 favorite singers ever. However, even though her previous music effort was severely slammed by critics, the actress-turned-singer doesn’t give up hope to break through to music stardom.

The new song sounds definitely better than, say, ‘Falling Down’ but it still seems that Johansson isn’t very good at singing.

‘Bullet’ is a part of Terrible Thrills, a tribute album by Scarlett Johansson and Pete Yorn.

I don’t think I’ll buy the record. However, I praise Scarlett’s persistence and focus on achieving her goals.

Check out Scarlett Johansson’s cover of ‘Bullet’ below and tell me you thoughts about it!

Katy Perry’s Teenage Dreams cover art by Will Cotton

Katy Perry has revealed the official cover art for her new album Teenage Dreams that hits shelves August 24, 2010.

The Teenage Dreams cover art is created by New York-based artist Will Cotton and features a barely-covered Katy floating on a cloud of candyfloss.

The portrait was unveiled at in the artist’s Lower East Side, Manhattan studio with Katy Perry present at the event.

According to the source, Katy first contacted the painter five months ago to share her enthusiasm for his work. It was kismet or destiny as Cotton, a confirmed Katy fan, had long considered making her the subject of one of his confectionary landscape paintings. Subsequently, the resulting portrait was chosen to grace the cover of her upcoming album.
