Having just gotten back to town, Zac Efron took Vanessa Hudgens out on a lunch date in Hollywood, California on Thursday afternoon (July 29).

Looking happier than ever to be together, the "High School Musical" lovers cutely held hands as they chowed down with Vanessa's "Rent" co-stars Aaron Tviet and Skylar Astin.

Currently quite busy with their blooming careers, Zac was fresh off of intense promotions for his just-released movie "Charlie St. Cloud".

30 Rock Goes Live In October

In its quest to become increasingly meta the NBC comedy 30 Rock, which is about the filming of a live SNL-esque comedy show, will air a live episode this October. The cast will do two performances of the show, so that viewers on both coasts will catch it live.

Usually I'd write a live episode off as a cheap gimmick, but 30 Rock has an incredible cast of comedians, many of whom got their start doing improv. If there's any show that could bring something to the live format other than awkward pauses and over-enunciated lines, it's this one. Honestly, 30 Rock has been in a bit of a slump lately (Liz Lemon is single and Kenneth is wacky, we get it, move on.) and a shake-up of the formula could do the show good. The timing also couldn't be better, in light of the FCC's temporary incapacitation we could be getting a half-hour of nothing but swearingand nudity. As long as it doesn't involve Lutz.

Heidi Klum's Family Travels

Finished up with her stay in the Big Apple, Heidi Klum was spotted leading her brood through the terminal at JFK Airport in New York City on Friday (July 30).

The supermodel mommy looked ever-so-stylish as she walked with Leni, Henry, Johan and baby Lou en route to catch a flight back to the west coast.

Miss Klum had been situated in NYC as she promoted the new season of "Project Runway" - which debuted just last night (July 29).

Talking about the best part of launching a new season, Heidi replied, "Every time I’m intrigued to see how the designers are. We never really know what they’re made out of when we do the casting. The people come in, and they bring their clothes. But have they really made those clothes? Did someone help them with this? How long did they spend on the garment they’re showing? It shows pretty much in the first two episodes who has a lot of talent and who kind of slid into this thing."

As for the biggest change between Season 7 and Season 8, she dished, "We have 30 more minutes now. It’s going to be 90 minutes. So if, say, one of the designers has a fight with someone, that will be taking more space up in the show. Or if someone has trouble sewing something, we will follow that story. … When we’re sitting and doing our chats in the director’s chairs without the designers, sometimes it is so intense, we might show more of that than usual. So it’s really going to be the same as what people already know, just more of it."

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi's Drunken Beach Arrest

Known to be a bit wild at times, to say the least, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi was arrested for being drunk and disorderly in Seaside Heights, New Jersey on Friday (July 30).

With the drama unfolding on the beach alongside JWoww and Deena, the "Jersey Shore" star looked a bit out of control as local officers led her to a nearby squad car after slapping on the cuffs.

Of the situation, a source tells Radar Online, "Snooki was drunk in public." Surely enough, the feisty brunette was later charged with public drunkenness,

Insiders add that the incident took place shortly after she had lunch with her father, with Miss Polizzi currently in the midst of shooting the third season of her popular MTV reality series.

Disney Sells Miramax for $660 Million

Making changes in their company, The Walt Disney Co. has opted to sell Miramax Films to a group of private investors for $660 million.

According to reports, Disney had been looking to unload Miramax since January - as they felt obliged to focus on more in their family centric studio units including Marvel and Pixar.

Of the decision, Disney President and CEO Robert Iger said, "Although we are very proud of Miramax's many accomplishments, our current strategy for Walt Disney Studios is to focus on the development of great motion pictures under the Disney, Pixar and Marvel brands."

Iger added, We are delighted that we have found a home for the Miramax brand and Miramax's very highly regarded motion picture library."

Heidi Montag Files for Divorce from Spencer Pratt

While there were rumors that their split was all a PR ploy, Heidi Montag has proven that she's serious about ending things with short-lived husband Spencer Pratt.

The "Hills" hottie officially filed for divorce, as she cited "irreconcilable differences" in paperwork filed at the Santa Monica Superior Court.

Miss Montag's lawyer, Jodeane Farrell, tells of the situation, "Heidi has amended her petition for separation and today has filed a petition for dissolution of marriage from Spencer Pratt."

Farrell adds, "The couple has agreed they would like their divorce to be finalized in a timely manner in an out of court settlement. Both parties are amicable with each other and over the possibility of finalizing their divorce."

Getting in another day of work, Vanessa Hudgens was spotted arriving at a studio in Los Angeles today (July 30).

The Disney darling looked a bit overwhelmed as she carried multiple heavy bags and a cooler of food while walking inside.

As for her boyfriend Zac Efron’s recent trip to a strip club with pal Corbin Bleu, it seems Miss Hudgens didn’t have an issue with it.

Zac told Jimmy Kimmel he called Vanessa beforehand. "That's the awkward part. It's like how do you even start that conversation without feeling like a total [expletive]? [But] she was fine with it, yeah."

Lindsay Lohan's Rehab Plans

She’s nearing the end of her time behind bars, and once Lindsay Lohan is released she’ll be headed for rehab.

According to a Radar Online report, the “Mean Girls” actress will be given 24 hours to spend with her family before reporting to Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach, California.

Morningside Recovery is set up to help with drug and alcohol rehabilitation as well as mental health issues, and dual diagnosis.

As for her stint in jail, it sounds like LiLo has been hanging in there, though things have definitely been tough to deal with.

Ready for a relaxing family weekend, Fernando Torres was spotted arriving with his family on the Spanish island of Ibiza on Friday (July 30).

The Liverpool soccer star walked alongside his lovely wife, Olalla Domínguez Liste, and their precious one-year-old daughter, Nora, while also traveling with a few friends.

Once settled into their temporary housing, Fernando and the family joined their pals for a bite to eat at a local eatery.

An insider explained, “They split because they were both just heading in very different directions. He’s 23 and wants to have fun and win football games. She’s 29 and wants to date a nice, honest guy. I think he was a little young for her.”

Simon Cowell & Ryan Seacrest Talk Ellen DeGeneres

She left her fans feeling sad when she resigned from “American Idol” this week, and now Ellen DeGeneres’ departure is being discussed by two of her former colleagues.

Simon Cowell, who has also left the show, told press, "As I got to know Ellen, I grew to really, really like her. I have huge respect for her because she's always been in control of her own destiny."

In the same vein, Ryan Seacrest took to his Twitter page to show support for DeGeneres and wish her well.

He tweeted, "Spoke with ellen d tonight aka @theellenshow. I will miss her on Idol. She's one of the kindest and most talented people in Hollywood."

Sandra Bullock Requests Removal from PSA

She boldly proclaims “be the one” in the new public service announcement from Restore the Gulf in which celebrities request that people sign a petition to demand the government clean up the Gulf Coast after the oil spill.

But now Sandra Bullock is rescinding her support of the effort because the organization has received donations from big oil companies.

Her rep told press, "Ms. Bullock was originally contacted through her attorney to be a part of the PSA in order to promote awareness of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. At no time was she made aware that any organization, oil company or otherwise had influence over Women of the Storm or its message."

Anne Milling, a rep from the organization responded, "I was shocked and of course very disappointed. However, I do believe that once Ms. Bullock hears and listens to the facts and understands that Women of the Storm has had no connection or taken money from oil companies, I think that will allay her fears and I believe she will rejoin our video because she really believes in coastal restoration. She is committed to that."
