Sarah Scott: Replacing Lindsay Lohan?

Unwilling to wait for her to finish her jail and rehab stints, it looks as if Lindsay Lohan is close to being replaced as porn star Linda Lovelace in the movie "Inferno".

According to a Gossip Center insider, "Pimp My Ride" actress Sarah Scott is the leading candidate for the gig after successful guest stints on both "True Blood" and "Nip/Tuck".

The 26-year-old Nebraska native happened to be spotted out in Los Angeles on Thursday (July 29) while leaving an audition with script in hand.

And while it would be quite the score career-wise for Moss Scott, she opted to remain mum as paparazzi asked whether the meeting was related to "Inferno".

Lindsay Lohan Gets Visit from Rehab Officials

Although no decision has been made just yet, it sure sounds like Lindsay Lohan will be going from the slammer to rehab in the not so distant future.

TMZ is reporting that rehabilitation officials paid a visit to the “Mean Girls” star at Lynwood Correctional Facility over the weekend.

Ali and Dina Visit Locked-Up Lindsay Lohan

Doing their best to keep their loved one in the highest possible spirits, Ali and Dina Lohan were spotted arriving at Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California on Wednesday (July 21).

While the mother and sister of Lindsay Lohan stayed for just over an hour, there's no confirmation as to whether they were able to see LiLo - as visitation is normally on weekends, though the jail can make exceptions.

As for Lindsay's state, the latest reports from a TMZ insider tell that the "Mean Girls" starlet is "cool, calm and sleeping a lot. She's not a mess at all. She's keeping to herself, better than yesterday and handling it pretty good."

Two days into an expected fourteen day stay, Miss Lohan is said to have requested that her loved ones bring her a copy of Ernest Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea" to help bide the time remaining on her sentence.

Lindsay Lohan Talks Career with German GQ

She’s best known these days for having a 90-day jail sentence thrown at her by Judge Marsha Revel, but Lindsay Lohan insists she’s not done with her acting career.

The “Mean Girls” actress appears in German GQ Magazine this month to talk about her aspirations as an actress.

"When I started working in the industry, I wanted to get to the very top — and I was painted as something completely different from what I really was.”

LiLo continued, “Nowadays in Hollywood, it is so much more about celebrities and gossip, which can distract many great actors from their actual ability. The public comes to know so much about these people that it gets superimposed upon on their work in movies. I love what I do, so I have to be able to handle it."

"The media creates its images in just seconds, so they can interpret reality as they imagine it. If I sneeze, photos are published in which I am said to be weeping bitterly. And if I keep my hand in front of my mouth and nose, it's the same; I was hung-over and had a hard night of heavy partying behind me. You can't imagine to what extent this has been accepted."

Lindsay Lohan: No Way Out of Jail Sentence

She’s scheduled to report to jail tomorrow (July 20) for a 90-day sentence behind bars (she’ll likely serve 22 days), and it doesn’t look like Lindsay Lohan will have any options for getting out of it.

LiLo’s lawyer Robert Shapiro agreed to represent her on the condition that she goes through with the jail time, especially considering that Judge Marsha Revel isn’t budging on the sentence.

However, Lindsay’s dad Michael Lohan is complaining that Shapiro hasn’t filed an appeal and wants his daughter to be given special treatment again.

Papa Lohan told press, "It's a conflict of interest if he's [Shapiro] putting her in his own sober house but not doing anything for her legally. An attorney is ethically responsible for defending their client to the best of their ability."

"But when you have an attorney like Robert Shapiro, who went through so much with his own son and knows the effects of prescription medications, it doesn't make sense that he did nothing to appeal her case and get her off the meds before she goes to jail.”

"Everyone knows that when you go into the jail or prison system, if you're on prescriptions written by a doctor, they give them to you in prison. It's a continuous cycle. Here you are punishing a girl because she has a drug problem, or at least for things that resulted from a drug problem and not doing anything to fix it. I'm very upset that Robert Shapiro did nothing to appeal the case."

Lindsay Lohan Expected to Spend Two Weeks in Jail

She burst into tears when Judge Marsha Revel threw a 90-day prison sentence at her, but Lindsay Lohan won’t be in the slammer nearly that long.

According to Sheriff department spokesman Steve Whitmore, the “Mean Girls” actress is expected to serve “about 14 days” at the Century Regional Detention Facility.

Other specific details of LiLo’s incarceration include being housed in a solitary area of the jail. “She will be kept away from general population.”

Attorney Shawn Chapman Holley added that Lindsay “is asking for your prayers and support. She has stepped up and accepted responsibility."
