Jerry Bruckheimer Gives Us A Peak At Jack Sparrow On Stranger Tides

It's been a whole three years since we last saw Johnny Depp slap on some mascara and prance around doing a Keith Richards impersonation. Rob Marshall is hard at work directing the next sequel, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, and photos from of Depp on-set have already leaked online. Then again, those pictures were grainy, small and taken from a distance. What if one of the producers snapped a photo of him posing with a sword instead? Time to thank Jerry Bruckheimer.

Perhaps because he needed to feel some sort of joy after The Sorcerer's Apprentice got pummeled at the box office, Bruckheimer has tweeted a new shot of Depp in costume and on set of the new Pirates movie. It's big and it's clear but it looks as though someone needs to teach Mr. Bruckheimer a lesson about lighting. While it's easy to tell who is in the picture, the famed producer could have just as easily taken the photo at an earlier time of day. But I'll let it slide this time. After all, with the box office failures of Prince of Persia and Sorcerer's Apprentice, he's having a pretty miserable summer.
