Rosie O'Donnell: Opposed to Obama's "View" Visit

He made history earlier today (July 29) for being the only current president to ever make an appearance on a day-time talk show, and now President Obama’s decision to do so is being talked about.

Of his sit-down with the ladies of “The View," Rosie O’Donnell said, “I have mixed feelings about that,” she explained on her Sirius XM radio show.

"I don't really think sitting presidents should go do fluffy daytime TV shows. Maybe an hour on ‘Oprah’ or something," the former “View” host remarked.

When she first heard of Obama paying a visit to the morning show, Rosie responded, "I don't really want to see him on ‘The View,’ although I'm happy for them. That's a good booking, and Barbara [Walter's] going to come back that day after her heart surgery."
