Katy Perry Talks Perfume

She’s gearing up for her new Purr fragrance, and Katy Perry says she’s looking forward to having another option when it comes to sexy scents.

As for the first perfume she wore, the “Teenage Dream” songstress revealed, “Clinique Happy. But I never really purchased bottles because I would go in and get samples. Eventually, I had a cabinet full of samples, because I was always trying new things; my tastes were changing, developing.”

And just because she’s coming out with her own fragrance, don’t expect Katy to trash her other favorites. “I don't think I have to give them up. As women, we have a lot of products in our lives. Sometimes you don't want to wear anything, to be honest. I'm not giving other fragrances up, I'm just happy to add Purr to my permanent collection.”

In related news, Katy will be getting help from the “Glee” guys - Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer, Mark Salling, and Kevin McHale- as they’ll be co-hosting the 2010 Teen Choice Awards with her next month.
