Brad Pitt Confirmed for "World War Z" Project

He could have pretty much any movie role he wanted, and it seems Brad Pitt is looking to slay some zombies on the silver screen.

According to a report, the “Fight Club” stud has signed on to star in the film adaptation of Max Brooks’ “World War Z,” set to hit theaters sometime in 2012.

Brooks announced the big news at Comic-Con this week, much to the delight of zombie movie fans all over the world.

Brad’s production company, Plan B Entertainment, licensed the rights to the book a few years back and they’re finally ready to move forward.
