Ashlee Simpson's Super-Slender Criticism

Diamonds are a girl’s best friend, and last night Ashlee Simpson was all about checking out the Neil Lane jewelry launch in Los Angeles.

The “Pieces of Me” songstress showed up at the swanky event and posed for the paparazzi before heading inside to peep the new bling.

And it seems Ashlee is catching some flak for her super-slender frame, appearing much skinnier last night than ever before.

Ms. Simpson, who is married to Pete Wentz, gave birth to her son Bronx Mowgli back in November of 2008 and ever since she’s seemed to struggle with thinness.
